About the Founder - Kasha Mann, Known as Singer Kasha

With just one soulfully enriched single, “I Want You,” Kasha proved herself as an international recording artist in 2015. Her music profile hit top national news blogs including luminaries such as Rolling Stone, and instantly cemented the R&B singer as a compelling new voice. Once Grammy Nominee and Producer Todd Terry remixed the single, it first aired on WBLS FM by Kevin Hedge and DJ Louie Vega and officially until 2015. To follow was a media blitz from the New York Beacon, Star Magazine for the Best Unsigned Female Artist of September 2013, to writes ups from the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post among other national outlets.

In March of 2014, she interviewed with both Examiner and Hip Rock Magazine. To follow was a nomination for 2014 International Music Entertainment Association (IMEA) for both R&B Soul Artist of the year, and R&B Soul Song of the year. The Hype Magazine featured her in their October 2013 and January 2014 issues, and by January of 2014, to follow were Mafia Magazine and throughout 2015: VEVO, YouTube, MTV, VH1 and more. The next year, her nomination for the AKADEMIA Awards, won her best Pop/R&B song of 2015. As an entrepreneur/inventor, her creation of an original, holistic product line—Ahsak Skin Care & Lipstick—came about as an outgrowth of her life as a performer. Finding theatrical and photoshoot makeup to be irritating and the cause of severe allergic reactions, she developed from scratch a recipe that began her healing. Once shared with family and friends, the product line quickly became a highly requested item. Now a sleek and stylish brand, encompassing other body care products, as well as expanding with a variety of new beauty items, the company offers the products to the public at large.
